Bozarth Mansion sits in north Spokane near Mead High School. Every bit of it is very photogenic, and it’s well-suited for weddings and receptions of a variety of sizes. The interior is very large and has prep rooms for both the guys and the girls, the girls’ rooms being the larger ones near the main staircase and the guys’ room overlooking the courtyard.
The main floor of the mansion houses the kitchen area, and we’ve seen the buffets all served out of the open room right next to it. Cakes we’ve seen done both in the main room and outside near the head table. All of our weddings there so far have had the dining in the outside courtyard, but the inside is definitely big enough to house a decent number of guests if the weather were poor.
There is a covered brick area between the courtyard and the house side entrance that serves as the dance floor. The DJ is typically set up at the west end of this at the top of one of the staircases down to the grass terrace below. It’s not a large dance floor, but it’s big enough to get the job done! We’ve worked with both Memorable Events DJ and Keen Music here for some great wedding receptions.
Catering is not provided by the venue, so you do have to handle that yourself. Their services are limited to the facility itself, including the chairs and tables as needed for your ceremony and reception. You’ll likely want to get the appropriate linens and such in your wedding colors from an event rental place like T&R Party and Event Rentals, which is about nine miles to the south on Division.
