This morning we posted Bianca and Justin’s proofs for viewing, so it’s only fitting now to top it off with a blog post. They booked us from across the state in Bellingham for their wedding at Hill’s Resort on Priest Lake where Justin had formerly been the head chef before moving to the west side of Washington.
We found Justin in the kitchen shortly after arriving where he was putting the final touches on the truffle placement on the wedding cake. Some of the other guys were in there creating the hors d’oeuvres and buffet items for the reception as well.
Part of Bianca’s family is Swiss, and a lot of her relatives from Switzerland managed to make the long flight over for the wedding, including her twin grandmothers.
Of course, the day wasn’t complete without the University of Washington flag hanging from the deck on the cabin and a Husky win for the couple! The news came mid-formals, so we got the full reaction on camera for the history book.

The rain held off until just after the ceremony and then started dumping as we did the last family formal. At least it made for an amazing background, even if everyone was running for the indoor reception area right after!
