At the end of February we were set to do Holly and Jesse's engagement session at the wagon wheel farm we use frequently. Problem was, it was very, very wet outside and just overall blah. Doesn't sound too appealing for photos, does it? You're right — it's cold, miserable, and gray and the photos reflect that big time.
For their backup location choice they wanted to try it in Riverpark Square. This had its own hurdles, of course. Indoor locations are not usually too keen on having photographers going anywhere and everywhere taking photos; many even charge fees of several hundred dollars for it. To our amazement, though, we were given permission and a media pass to do the shoot there without any problems at all. We weren't allowed to take pictures with the storefronts in them, but aside from that, we could pretty much use any part of the mall we wanted.
We're still planning on taking a trip to the wagon wheel farm this spring but for now here are a few from this shoot.
